The Pokemon GO expansion is predicted to be the hottest of the summer!
The Pokemon Company has revealed a handful of cards that will be released in the next Pokemon GO set that releases internationally on July 1st. Promotional versions of the Kanto Starters and the Dragonite VSTAR line were also revealed.
In addition to these card reveals, it has been revealed that there will be a handful of in-game events for Pokemon GO players to tie in with the release of the Pokemon GO TCG set. Players will be able to catch Pikachu with a special TCG-themed hat, Mewtwo will appear in 5-star raids, and Wimpod and Golisopod will make their first appearance in GO.
While the wait grows to unveil the most iconic Pokemon of all time, Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard, there is little news regarding their "basic" version.
Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle will release in "Pokémon GO Pin Collections" in the third quarter.
Each collection includes a promotional card and pin
Dragonite V and VSTAR have also been revealed, but we don't yet know which English product they will appear in.
The only Pokemon GO product that hasn't been accounted for is the "Premier Deck Holder Collection," so we might see them there. No details about that product have yet been revealed.
